I also don't see any option, unless I somehow missed it, in their application options to change the "theme" that they are using for their folder icons. I have to think that this is a configurable setting, since it is different in each version of LM, but I can't seem to find out where it located or configured. In my Live CS examples from LM 21, 21.2, 21.2, I had downloading K3b was from the LM software Manager and XnViewMP from a XnViewMP-linux-圆4.deb file from their website. You can also change the colours of specific files, or define your own. Edit the value of the DIR attribute as above in the /.dircolor file colour to change the colour of the directory (or any of the other included file types for other colours). It is seemingly only applications like K3b and XnViewMP that are using some other theme. It also flags the ls command to display in colour. I'm fine with either the LM 21.0 and 21.1 folder icons for the K3b and XnViewMP applications, but I don't want to see the "mint chocolate chip" green folder icons in LM 22.2 anymore. Follow the below steps to change folder color Windows 10: 1. If it matters, my current LM->Themes is currently set to: So, how do I change the "theme" that those applications are using? I would like them to use the "Mint-X" theme that Cinnamon desktop is using, but I would also accept either the old LM 21.0 or 21.1 themes for those applications as well. Select it and it will change your icon theme. Then select Icons and use the drop-down arrow to veiw all icon themes, and Candy-Icons appears near the top - you may have to scroll up to see it. Gsettings set icon-theme "Mint-X"Ī reboot after that hasn't helped either. Open Tweaks and select Appearance from the vertical menu to the left. Code: Select all gsettings set gtk-theme "Mint-X"
